At First Baptist Church of Maricopa our focus is to lead people to accomplish three things in their lives and the lives of their families.
This seems simple but it is a process of discipleship which Jesus Christ gave to the church in Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:19-20.
First, someone loves God. This first step is the most basic and essential aspect of discipleship, but it does not end there. After someone enters into a love relationship with God, he or she begins to love others. The person commits to grow in community with others. After loving God and others, the natural result is to serve people. And the process continues and is ongoing for the rest of a person’s life.
